NO! our wildlife is protected protected under the Nature Conservation Act 1992 injuring, killing any wildlife can result in hefty fines and possible jail time. Also statistics show 90% of snake bites occur due to the person(s) trying to kill or capture the snake.

In some rare cases due to health and safety risk we may refuse to remove a snake due to roof removals from asbestos buildings, unsafe heights, voltage risks etc.
9. WHY SHOULD I CALL OUT A SNAKE CATCHER?
Not only are you ensuring the safety of yourself, family and pets you are also doing the right thing by the animal. snakes are an integral part of our ecosystem and like any animal they deserve our respect. Snakes and reptiles are also protected under the Nature Conservation Act 1992, it is an offence to interfere with them unless you have the appropriate license to do so.
10. WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I FIND A SNAKE ON MY PROPERTY OR BUSINESS?
First of all ensure that all persons or pets are kept safely away from the snake.
If the snake is inside the house within a room close the door to that room and create a seal at the bottom of the door by rolling up towels to ensure the animal can’t escape from the enclosed room, make sure there are no gaps. If the snake is inside an open area in the house such as the Lounge room, kitchen etc close all the doors in the house to keep in the one area.
If the snake is outside it may move on by itself however if it does not bring any pets inside if possible and please do not hesitate to call us. Also Keep an eye on the snake within a safe distance until our arrival. If possible and safe to do you take a photo from your phone from a safe distance in zoom mode for us, this can help us identify it prior to arrival.
